FINE ART

Seals creates a visual commentary on American culture and folklore through portraiture. The characters weave a narrative that explores issues of excess and overindulgence. Influenced by popular culture and gender roles, the artist uses Printmaking for the medium's didactic and often democratic qualities. Seals has shown nationally and internationally, including in China, Estonia, France, and Ada, Oklahoma. Prints on paper are collected by the Plains Art Museum. Fargo, ND, and the Harvard Art Museum, Cambridge, MA.
